Bad Weather Arrangements

When Hong Kong Observatory announce the following warning signals either immediately or later, classes will be suspended according to the following instructions.

• Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above is hoisted; or
• Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued.

Time that the signal is in force (hoisted)	Suspension Arrangement
In force until 7 a.m. / Observatory that the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be issued before 12 p.m.	Morning Classes (09:30-12:40) suspended
In force until 12 p.m.	Afternoon Classes (13:20-16:30)  suspended

*If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above is hoisted in the middle of the class, the class suspension will be arranged according to the actual circumstances.
*If Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued in the middle of the class, students will stay on campus for safety reasons.
*Suspended classes based on the weather issue will be postponed or have a makeup class with time announced later.
