The Japan Society of Hong Kong Scholarship 2026 Applications are Now Open
Applications for the Japan Society of Hong Kong Scholarship 2026 are now open and will close on 6 February 2026. To commemorate its 30th Anniversary, the Japan Society of Hong Kong established the Scholarship Fund in 1993 to support Hong Kong residents in pursuing studies in Japan.The main purpose of offering such scholarship is to promote the studies of Japanese culture and the mutual understanding between the peoples of Hong Kong and Japan. The Society is honoured to receive generous donations from the Hong Kong - Japan Cultural and Educational Exchange Foundation Limited in support of the Scholarship Fund.
The Japan Society of Hong Kong Scholarship Result 2026
Five Hong Kong teenagers Ms. Cheung Ho Yan, Ms. Sze Shun Kwan, Ms. Yip Tsz Ching, Ms. Yeung Tsz Yi and Mr. Tang Ngai Chun are subsidized for studying in Japan, each with half a million Japanese Yen, by the “Scholarship of The Japan Society of Hong Kong”. This is the 34th Scholarship and there were 152 scholarship recipients in total over the past 34 years. The Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held on 11 March, 2026, Wednesday at The Japan Society of Hong Kong. Guests of the Ceremony included:

- President of The Hong Kong - Japan Cultural and Educational Exchange Foundation Limited, Mr. Teruo Funahashi
