“Origami – the Art and Science of Paper Folding” Seminar concluded successfully on 11 December 2021.

 

Many of us learnt to fold simple objects like boat when we were just a kid. This hobby proliferated in Japan and then some engineers formalized the paper folding techniques using mathematics and computers and created complex and real-life looking models.

 

It was great to have Mr. Dennis Li again to share the origami theories and his experiences. He also guided the attendees to fold a “diamond” and brought his own origami works to our members and students as gifts, such as “Rose”, “Rose Crane” and “Diamond”.
