The 42nd Japanese Language Speech Contest

The 42nd Japanese Language Speech Contest organized by The Japan Society of Hong Kong was ended with great success on 5th November, Sunday. The competition happens to fall on the 55th anniversary of the Society’s foundation, four students from Shenzhen and Macau were invited to join respectively. With ten local students, they will perform and share this fruitful experience together.
The Director of Public Relations & Cultural Affairs Division of Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong, Mr. Masahiko Sugita, presented the consul-general cup and certificate of merit to the winners. Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) gave out free round-trip ticket from Hong Kong to Japan. Furthermore, The Hong Kong-Japanese Cultural & Educational Exchange Foundation, Japan National Tourist Organization, Society of Japanese Language Education Hong Kong, The Japan Universities Alumni Society Hong Kong, The University Alliance for Japanese Studies in HK Macau & GDP, Canon Electronic Business Machines (H.K.) Co., Ltd. and the Society had donated the prizes as well.
